Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood is an American actress who is also a comedian, host and TV actress most well-known for her work as the Talk's co-host for daytime. Sheryl was raised within Little Rock. Sheryl comes from a troubled family. She spent most her childhood looking after her sick sister Frankie. Growing up, she had a difficult relationship between her parents. Sheryl says that her mother once stabbed at her father for getting too close. Following her college graduation Sheryl entered the military. But her passion was comedy. She was the first female to make it to the finals in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. Her TV profession began in the year 1992, as an actor on the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of the show Oh Drama! Then in 2011, she started participating for The Talk as co-host. In addition, she has played various characters from shows such as Bulworth Nikki, Bulworth and Beauty Shop.
