Harry Edward Styles is an English musician, singer, and musician. He was part of One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England in February 1994. He is the daughter of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where three of his classmates made up a group of musicians called White Eskimo. The band won in the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to the excellent performance. Although he's always fascinated by music, despite his interest he was also thinking about becoming a lawyer and physiotherapist. In order to support his loved ones, he volunteered for a brief period of time working at a local bakery. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition in which he performed Stevie Wonder's song Is not She Lovely. This is why his group were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he be a member of a brand new group, One Direction. The other members were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group. The group was formed in the year 2010. During the competition the band performed songs like My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group could be considered one of the contestants to be the winner. However they were 3rd place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. While Harry Styles and his group were not crowned winners, Cowell agreed to pay 2 million pounds for One Direction to sign with the Syco Record label.
